Andersen Bed — Rodolfo Dordoni for Minotti

The Andersen bed is the bedroom complement to Dordoni’s Andersen seating system — a design that translates the clean architectural logic of the sofa collection into the sleeping environment. The proportions are generous without being imposing: a low, fully upholstered headboard of measured height, a base that sits close to the floor, and a perimeter edge treated with the same precision stitching found across Dordoni’s Minotti work.

What makes Andersen distinctive is its tonal discipline — the bed is designed to anchor a room quietly, coordinating with Andersen seating rather than competing with it. Available in the full range of Minotti’s textile and leather collections.

Rodolfo Dordoni (Milan, 1954–2023) was one of Italy’s most celebrated architects and designers, whose 26-year collaboration with Minotti defined the brand’s modern identity. Beginning in 1997, Dordoni brought a rationalist sensibility and couture precision to every collection — his work is characterised by pure volumes, refined geometry, and an unwavering attention to material quality.

Specifications: Frame: Plywood and metal internal structure. Upholstery: Polyurethane foam, breathable fibre lining. Covers: Fabric or leather, removable. Base: Upholstered platform with felt glides. Available in single, double, queen, and king sizes. Made in Italy.

Lead time: 16–20 weeks. Le Belle Arti is an authorized Minotti dealer serving Edmonton and Calgary.
