The system is offered with doors in either a smooth or a slatted version, and the smooth door in particular is built to take a wide span of materials, from solid walnut and solid oak through to mineral surfacing, steel and glass, so the same tapered edge can be dressed in a natural wood grain or a cool mineral surface depending on the room. Certain tall units substitute a solid door for one glazed in reflective smoked glass set into a matching anodized frame, and an open shelving system, finished to sit flush with the surrounding cabinetry, can be built into the wall between units for display rather than closed storage.
