The Blazer Seating System takes its name from the garment that most directly embodies the tailoring tradition it references: the blazer, with its structured silhouette, precise seaming, and the interaction of woven fabric under tension with an underlying structure of interfacing and padding. Dordoni translates this sartorial logic to the sofa format: the 10cm stitching bands are the visible evidence of a construction process in which the upholstery is sewn through multiple layers of material under controlled tension, creating a surface in which the interaction of the stitching with the foam beneath produces a consistent, precise visual rhythm.
