The Chilone is a study in resolved minimalism — a slim, angled cylinder of aluminium that tilts gently toward the ground to cast a focused pool of light. Its geometry is architectural and precise: there are no extraneous elements, no decorative flourishes, just a tube of light oriented with intention. The pole version stands independently in outdoor and indoor spaces, making it ideal for garden paths, terraces, and exterior architectural lighting where a ground stake or wall mount would be impractical.

Available in anodized aluminium finishes and designed to house an LED source with excellent colour rendering, Chilone brings the same rigour to outdoor specification that Artemide demands in its interior collection. IP65 rated for full outdoor use.

About the DesignersDefne Koz is a Milan and Istanbul-based designer whose work has been recognized with Red Dot, iF, and Good Design awards. Marco Righetto is a Milan-based designer and frequent Artemide collaborator. Together they designed the Chilone family with the goal of creating an outdoor luminaire as architecturally considered as its indoor counterparts.
