Paolo Rizzatto is an Italian architect and designer who co-founded Luceplan in Milan in 1978 with Alberto Meda and Riccardo Sarfatti. His Costanza lamp (1986) is considered one of the most significant Italian lighting designs of the late 20th century, recognised with multiple design awards.

Luceplan was founded in Milan in 1978 by architects Alberto Meda, Paolo Rizzatto, and Riccardo Sarfatti — three designers who brought an engineering rigour and architectural precision to lighting. The brand is known for its technically innovative, formally refined lamps, including the iconic Costanza by Paolo Rizzatto (1986). Luceplan is now part of the Artemide group.
