The Jacques Sofa belongs to the Jacques furniture family — which includes the Jacques Armchair — and shares that family's commitment to soft, continuous curved geometry as the primary design language. Where the Jacques Armchair is a single-seat piece for individual occupation, the Jacques Sofa extends the family's formal vocabulary to provide seating for two to three occupants within the same continuous shell form, creating a composition that is visually coherent from all viewpoints and spatially efficient in its use of floor area.

The compact footprint of the Jacques Sofa — at 2300mm width, smaller than many of the larger Minotti sofa systems — makes it appropriate for interior environments where floor area is limited or where the proportional relationship between seating and room scale must be carefully managed.
