La Petite Floor walks a careful line between presence and restraint. An archetypal lampshade is balanced on a tilted wire stem that leans at an angle, creating the impression of a lamp caught mid-bow — or a dancer in an asymmetric pose. There is no symmetry in its design, but there is order: a subtle harmony of elements disassembled, held in equilibrium at the boundary between light and dark.
The shade is an oversized, fabric-covered dome that casts a wide, diffused downward light. The stem is a single slender wire, powder-coated in a complementary tone. La Petite Floor is a floor lamp that reads as sculpture from across the room and as a quietly generous source of light up close. Available in a selection of shade and stem colours.
About the DesignersQuaglio Simonelli is a Milan-based design studio founded by Alessandro Quaglio and Simone Simonelli. Their practice spans product design, interiors, and art direction, with a consistent focus on form that holds meaning beyond function. They have worked with Artemide on multiple projects within the brand’s Design Collection.
