Quadro Washbasin

Quadro is a free standing washbasin with a square footprint, built as a self contained object rather than a basin meant to drop into a vanity top. It is fitted with a tap hole, though a version without one is available on request, and it includes an overflow.

The basin is molded in Cristalplant, a solid surface material that combines pure aluminium trihydrate mineral fillers with plant derived Biobased resins rather than a fired ceramic. The material has a stone-like, velvety surface, resists everyday wear, and its photocatalytic surface actively resists bacteria. A scratch, dent or patch of yellowing can be repaired rather than requiring replacement. The basin comes complete with a click clack waste fitted with a matching cap, though the waste trap itself is not included.

Because Quadro sits on its own rather than dropping into a counter, it works best in a bathroom composition where the basin itself is meant to read as a piece of furniture rather than disappear into a vanity top. Installation calls for a neutral, transparent, non acetic silicone; any other sealant risks corroding the basin’s surface, which is worth flagging to the installer before the piece goes in.
