Shape Kitchen

Shape is Poliform’s most architecturally expressive kitchen, designed by CR&S Varenna to explore the relationship between curved and rectilinear form. Where most kitchen systems work exclusively in straight lines, Shape introduces flowing, radiused elements, a curved peninsula, sculptural open shelving, and softened countertop edges, that transform the kitchen from a purely functional space into something closer to furniture.

The fronts are available in lacquered finishes with a distinctive embossed texture, natural wood veneers with a brushed or smooth finish, and Fenix NTM, the soft-touch, self-healing nanotech surface. These material options allow Shape to range from warm, organic compositions centred on timber and stone, to cooler, more graphic schemes built around lacquer and ceramic.

The island and peninsula configurations are where Shape is most distinctive. Curved end panels, integrated open shelving with concealed LED illumination, and sculptural breakfast-bar extensions give the kitchen a presence that is both inviting and contemporary. The tall boiserie panelling system coordinates backsplash and wall treatment into a single architectural gesture.

Functional sophistication matches the visual ambition. Servo-drive-assisted wall units open at a touch, full-extension drawer systems feature custom dividers, and integrated appliance housing keeps the visual line unbroken. Worktop choices span natural marble, granite, ceramic, and engineered quartz, all cut and finished to the curved geometries that define the system.
