Shape borrows its logic from handleless kitchen design without actually removing the handle: instead of hiding it entirely, the system recesses it inside a profile along the edge of the door, so the opening detail becomes a shadow line rather than a raised handle. On the tall units that profile runs the full height of the door as one continuous moulding, while on the base units the same recessed handle can sit centered on the door or shifted to one side.

That recessed line is deliberately the only visible hardware, which lets the rest of the composition carry the material story: the range includes glass fronted doors that swing open on a pivot rather than a standard hinge, built for cabinets meant to display rather than conceal their contents. Several island configurations pair a stone or steel worktop with a smaller snack top in solid wood, and one version of that snack top includes a section that swivels, letting the surface turn toward the seating side of the island. A tall unit can also be fitted out as a wine cellar within the same run, and an open shelving system finished to match the cabinetry can be built into the wall between tall units.

Because the recessed handle line and the pivoting glass doors both reward being seen rather than hidden, Shape suits an island facing an open plan dining or living area where the cabinetry is on display as much as a piece of furniture would be. A designer laying out the island should decide early whether the snack top’s swivelling section is wanted, since it changes how the island relates to the seating around it.
