Marcio Kogan's Superquadra Storage unit reflects the same bold material language that characterizes studio mk27's architectural work: the willingness to use materials at a scale and in a combination that announces itself without apology. The marble top — available in Calacatta, with its dramatic white and gold veining, or Sahara Noir, with its deep black field and complex gold veining — is presented as a slab of considerable mass that overhangs the wood structure below it, creating a visual drama of material contrast and structural daring.

The motorized door option is a technical refinement that significantly elevates the functional experience of the Superquadra. Motorized doors — which open and close via an electronic mechanism controlled by a touch or switch — eliminate the physical effort and the mechanical complexity of conventional cabinet door hardware, providing a smooth, silent operation that is appropriate for the unit's luxury positioning. The aluminum blade base in Brandy finish provides a structural and aesthetic base element that connects the Superquadra to Minotti's broader base language while supporting the considerable weight of the marble top and the stained wood body.
