Designed by Michele De Lucchi & Giancarlo Fassina for Artemide. Outdoor adaptation of the iconic Tolomeo.

The Tolomeo Outdoor brings the legendary articulated arm system into protected outdoor environments. Constructed from anodized aluminium treated for UV and moisture resistance, it retains every functional gesture of the original — the fingertip repositioning, the cable-tensioned balance, the rotating shade — while meeting the demands of covered terraces, porches, and pergolas. Designed for wall mounting, it brings considered Italian craft to outdoor spaces that so often settle for less.

The Tolomeo Outdoor is IP44 rated, suitable for covered outdoor installations, and accepts LED light sources. Available in polished or anodized aluminium finishes.

About the DesignersMichele De Lucchi and Giancarlo Fassina’s Tolomeo has been in continuous production since 1987 and received the Compasso d’Oro in 1989. The outdoor family extends this legacy to exterior architecture without compromising the design’s essential character.

Today Artemide remains the world's foremost lighting design company, with collections represented in the permanent collections of MoMA New York, the Design Museum London, and countless institutions worldwide.
