Driade was founded in Piacenza, Italy in 1968 and quickly became one of the most culturally significant furniture brands in Italian design, working with Antonia Astori, Philippe Starck, Borek Sipek, Enzo Mari, and many others. The brand's history represents a remarkable cross-section of European design thought from the late 20th century onward.
