Napoleon Keramik

Napoleon is built around a single central base rather than four corner legs, formed using a ceramic modelling technique that lets the base curve into rounded edges. Two symmetrical hubs join at the centre, and a recessed vertical groove on the short side of the base breaks up what would otherwise be a uniform surface. This Napoleon Keramik takes the version finished entirely in ceramic, base and top alike.

Base and top are built in the same Marmi ceramic, in a range of finishes, so the table reads as one continuous material from the floor to the tabletop rather than a top set onto a differently finished support. Variation in tone and texture across the base is part of how the ceramic is shaped and finished, and is characteristic of the process rather than a flaw in the piece.

Napoleon suits a dining room where the table is meant to read as one sculpted ceramic object, base and top together. The family also includes a Keramik Premium version with a hand brushed decorative edging, a Wood version with a ceramic base and wooden top, so designers should confirm which one suits the room before settling on finishes.
