Lou 2020 takes a family first designed in 2017 and revisits it with new materials, colours and structural details, while keeping the idea intact: fine cabinetmaking paired with an updated, more contemporary construction. The result is a lighter reading of the original, most visible in a new square-section leg that trades weight for a more delicate stance on the floor, across a range spanning a dining sideboard, a living sideboard and its TV console version, a bar sideboard and a night sideboard.

Across the family, the body is built from fiberboard with honeycomb sides and an MDF top over a reinforced structural base, with doors, drawer fronts and the back finished in a glossy Mud-coloured lacquer and the sides in a matching matt lacquer for contrast. Stone Grey marble, 15 mm thick, appears on the tops of certain pieces, set with a beveled edge that keeps the stone from reading as heavy. The legs are square tubular metal, 30 by 30 mm, varnished in a polished Pewter colour, resting on adjustable feet in the same finish.

Each piece hides a function behind its cabinetmaking: the console drawers interlock for storage without visible bulk, the bar sideboard opens to a compartment lined in mirror and steel, and the dining and night sideboards combine doors and drawers with interior drawers in a Tobacco-coloured saddle-hide for cutlery. The dining sideboard gives serving storage close to the table, the living version doubles as a TV console, the bar sideboard suits an entertaining space, and the night sideboard extends the same materials into the bedroom.
