Lucellino NT LED by Ingo Maurer is a new version of Lucellino NT with LED-technology. Lucellino is a play on words, a combination of the Italian words “uccellino” (little bird) and “luce” (light). Lucellino NT LED comes with a transformer integrated into the wall plate and can only be mounted directly onto a wall outlet. We recommend the use of a dimmer so that the brightness can be regulated. With appropriate wiring, several Lucellino NT LED can be dimmed simultaneously. The cover glass has a diameter of 15 cm. The handmade pair of wings made of goose feathers sits directly on the E27 base. Without cable and plug. Not suitable for rooms with high humidity.
Available in multiple finishes and sizes to complement a variety of interiors and architectural settings.

Ingo Maurer (1932–2019), known as the Poet of Light, was a German designer whose work transformed lighting from functional object to emotional art. Born on Reichenau Island, he trained as a typographer before founding Design M (later Ingo Maurer GmbH) in Munich in 1963. His iconic Bulb lamp (1966) entered MoMA's permanent collection, and his subsequent career produced an extraordinary body of work — Lucellino, Zettel'z, Porca Miseria!, and YaYaHo — that consistently blended poetry, humour, and technical innovation. He died in Munich in 2019 at the age of 87.
