Zeus commits to one clear decision rather than a straightforward symmetrical daybed: an asymmetrical shape whose armrests open outward, away from the base, giving the piece a dynamic line down one side. That single deliberate imbalance is what turns a reclining daybed into a distinct chaise longue, since the open armrest side changes how a person settles into it and how the piece reads from across a room.

The shell beneath the upholstery is rigid, built from structural polyurethane and polyurethane foam, and it sits on cast aluminum bases that lift the whole piece clear of the floor. Comfort comes from a seat cushion filled with sterilized, Assopiuma certified goose down over a crushproof insert, so the cushion keeps its shape under regular use, while separate lumbar cushions support the lower back rather than leaving that job to the seat cushion alone. An optional headrest cushion can be added on request, and the covers themselves come in fabric or leather.
