Designed by Rodolfo Dordoni for Minotti, 2016.
The Lawrence sofa announces itself through proportion rather than mass. Its low horizontal profile rides on a continuous powder-coated steel frame in brushed bronze or matte black that sits just millimetres from the floor, giving it an almost suspended quality. Construction is Minotti’s benchmark: hardwood and multi-layer plywood frame, interlocking sinuous springs, and multi-density polyurethane cushioning topped with goose down in breathable wadding. A seat that offers immediate support and deepens into comfort over time.
