Fil de Fer — ‘iron wire’ — by Enzo Catellani is a pendant lamp made from aluminium wire wound by hand into a sphere, its interior studded with micro-LEDs that evoke a constellation of stars. The lamp is entirely handmade, and no two spheres are identical — each is a unique celestial object.
Available in multiple finishes and sizes to complement a variety of interiors and architectural settings.

Enzo Catellani founded Catellani & Smith in 1989 near Bergamo, Italy, initially running a lamp shop before channelling his passion for light into design. A self-taught sculptor of illumination, Catellani creates every piece himself — working with artisans who handcraft each lamp individually, treating small imperfections as marks of authenticity. His collections, including the iconic Fil de Fer, PostKrisi, Stchu-Moon, and Lederam, have been installed in museums, cultural institutions, and landmark architectural projects worldwide.
