Xilos is a low table from Maxalto built in wood. Maxalto publish its construction rather than a written description: a frame in veneered solid wood, or solid wood with a veneered multi-layered panel, carrying a top in veneered plywood with a honeycomb core, or a top in marble with a glossy polyester finish.
Some versions add a lower shelf in ceiba blockboard and MDF, and the table stands on feet in steel and plastic. Xilos suits a living room in front of a sofa, and the choice between the wood and marble tops is the one that sets how it reads against the other surfaces in the room.
