Lederam Manta S2

Lederam Manta extends the same idea across a wider shade: a family built on keeping a hand drawn line thin translates here into a broad, flat fiberglass form suspended from above rather than a disc mounted flush to a wall. Aluminium discs are set into the shade and can swivel, so the direction of the light can be adjusted without moving the fixture itself.

The shade is built in fiberglass, carried on metal rods that run down to bases finished to match, with the swiveling aluminium discs as the one moving part. The suspension cable is supplied long and cut to length on site, so the fixture can be hung at whatever height a specific ceiling calls for.

Manta’s wide, flat shade makes it a fixture for open space above a table or a seating area, somewhere its full underside is visible from below rather than tucked against a wall. Because the discs swivel independently, a designer can angle the light toward a table surface or a piece of art without needing a second fixture nearby.
