Belt Outdoor Armchair

The outdoor Belt keeps the enveloping, cushioned body of the indoor seats introduced in 2021, then translates the detail that names the collection. The band tracing the indoor seat’s outline becomes a corded finish outdoors, wrapping a Bronze toned steel frame in place of leather, a considered substitution that keeps the same graphic line while using a material built to sit outside all season.

The frame is stainless steel, powder coated in polished Bronze to resist fingerprints outdoors, and the seats rest on a separate aluminium base with an exterior-grade matt varnish. Cushions combine high resilience polyurethane foam with viscoelastic chips and a thermoregulating polyester fibre, encased in water-repellent polyester upholstery with water-repellent zippers and thread throughout. Every cushion but the footstool’s is reversible, and legs come in varnished aluminium matching the cord or solid teak with dowel joinery.

Belt Cord Outdoor is one seating family, its two-seater sofa, bergere, armchair, footstool and dining little armchair sharing the same cord and frame language, so a terrace or garden can mix seat types without breaking the look. Because the fibre and teak read warmer than the collection’s more graphic pieces, it suits a terrace or poolside area that should feel inviting rather than architectural. Designers should decide between aluminium and teak legs early, since the choice changes both look and upkeep.
