Metropolitan ’14 is an armchair from B&B Italia’s Metropolitan family. B&B Italia publish its construction rather than a written description, and the construction explains the chair: an internal frame of tubular steel and steel profiles, shaped and padded so the upholstery holds its form.
The padding combines flexible cold shaped polyurethane foam with shaped polyurethane under a polyester fibre cover, and the chair sits on a support frame in die-cast aluminium and extrusions with thermoplastic ferrules. It is covered in fabric or leather from a limited range of categories, so the cover is best chosen together with the rest of the living room.
