Dado’s dressers extend the same family idea in two directions: a chest of drawers that develops vertically into a taller, narrower piece, or one that develops horizontally into a wider, lower piece, both keeping the same detail that runs through the whole collection, where the top and sides project slightly deeper than the drawer fronts to give the front face a sense of recessed depth.

Frame and drawer fronts are built in painted MDF wood fibre panels, with drawer interiors in a melamine faced wood particle panel, and the drawers open on a TIP-ON mechanism that fully extends without needing a handle. Because a chest of drawers this size carries real weight and height once its drawers are loaded, the US version includes an anti-tip system in metal and plastic, anchored to the wall, with a painted aluminium extrusion cover kit that keeps the hardware out of sight once fitted.

In a bedroom, the vertical version suits a narrow wall where floor space is limited, while the horizontal version works along a longer, lower wall opposite the bed, and either can be paired with the Dado nightstand to furnish the room from one coordinated family sharing the same painted finish and front detail. Given the piece’s height and weight when loaded, a designer specifying the US version should confirm the wall construction can take the anti-tip anchor before the dresser is installed.
